Not yet — but Xero announced one at Xerocon Denver 2026, described as a Xero plugin in ChatGPT arriving within weeks across Chat, Work and Codex. Until it ships, treat it as announced rather than available. QuickBooks does have a live ChatGPT app if you can switch that part of the question.

At Xerocon Denver 2026 Xero announced an OpenAI connector, described as a Xero plugin in ChatGPT coming within weeks across Chat, Work and Codex. Until it ships this stays in the announced-but-unshipped category, the same rule we applied to Hilton and Burger King. Meanwhile QuickBooks does have an official ChatGPT app (Intuit, 5 March 2026, US-only), so "no accounting app exists" is no longer true either. Xero's shipped AI work so far is its in-product agent, a developer-facing MCP server, and an assistant connector in Claude's directory rather than ChatGPT's.
