ChatGPT App Availability
Availability is the most common reason a ChatGPT app does not work for you, and there is no official per-country matrix — not from OpenAI, not from the vendors. Of the 123 apps we track, 43 have a documented regional restriction and 24 require a specific plan. The other 59 have no documented constraint, which is not the same as confirmed global availability.

How to read this page
An app is listed below only when its own review cites the constraint — a launch announcement, vendor documentation, or OpenAI's release notes. That keeps the tables trustworthy and makes them shorter than you might want.
The important consequence: an app missing from these tables is not confirmed as globally available. It means nobody has published a restriction we could cite. Availability also changes without announcement, so treat every row as of its last-tested date and confirm in your own account before depending on it.
Two constraint types get conflated constantly, so they are separated here: a ChatGPT-side requirement, meaning the plan or workspace tier you need in ChatGPT itself, and a vendor-side requirement, meaning a paid account on the service being connected. An app can be free in ChatGPT and still cost money to use.

No constraint documented (59)
Nobody has published a restriction we could cite for these. Read that as unknown, not as confirmed availability — and note that the ChatGPT apps surface itself has regional limits independent of any individual app.
Frequently asked questions
- Are ChatGPT apps available in the EU?
- Partly, and it depends on the app. Several launched explicitly for users outside the EU, and some integrations are documented as unavailable in the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland. Others carry no documented restriction. There is no official per-country availability matrix, so the honest answer for any specific app is to check its constraint on this page and confirm in your own account.
- Which ChatGPT apps are US-only?
- Of the apps we track, DoorDash, Target, and Thumbtack are documented as US-only. Several others are US-centric in practice without a formal restriction — Zillow's coverage, Resy's inventory, and Yelp's booking flow all skew or limit to North America.
- Do I need a paid ChatGPT plan to use apps?
- Not usually. Most apps work on free ChatGPT. A minority require a paid or business-tier ChatGPT workspace: ClickUp and GitLab Issues need Business, Enterprise, or Edu, and Teamwork needs any paid plan. Separately, some apps need a paid account on their own service, which is a different constraint.
- Why don't you list availability for every app?
- Because we only publish what we can source. An app appears in the constraint tables here when its own review cites the restriction. Apps with nothing listed have no documented constraint, which is not the same as confirmed global availability — and we would rather say that than fill a matrix with guesses.
- Does OpenAI publish which apps work in which countries?
- No. There is no official per-app, per-country availability matrix. Constraints surface piecemeal through launch announcements, vendor documentation, and release notes, which is why a page like this has to be assembled from sources rather than read off a single list.
